After the dark, wet days of Winter it’s quite natural to experience a drop in mood and energy levels.


Scientists believe that Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and similar issues, are related to the way our body responds to daylight, diet and a reduction in physical activities. During Winter, we’re less inclined to spend time outside, and more inclined to eat stodgy or heavy foods, all of which can have a negative effect on our wellbeing. But the good news is whilst we can't change the weather, we can have control over of our feelings, the way we move, and what we eat! And we’d like to show you how!

This workshop will combine a gentle but energizing yoga sequence, an uplifting relaxation/meditation along with easy-to-follow nutritional advice. This workshop will leave you with increased positivity, a lighter mind, and motivation to practice more yoga.

Wellbeing Yoga Centre is pleased to offer this workshop for students who would like to begin a regular yoga practice, or those who have a little experience but still have questions and would like to feel more confident in the postures. It is also an excellent gift for someone you would like give all the best!

In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn some of the most popular postures, simple meditation, relaxation techniques as well as breathing practices. If you have been too intimidated to go to a yoga class in the past, this will help overcome that!
